Sustainable Agriculture
Agriculture is the economic backbone of any society and is the sector that provides majority employment opportunities, both directly and indirectly. The dependence of agriculture on weather and climatic conditions makes it vulnerable to climate change. These vulnerabilities might be experienced through decreases yields, diseases, water problems and soil erosion. Failure to address the risks posed by climate change threaten the livelihoods and food security of the affected regions.
We offer roadmaps on how food security can be achieved and how clean technologies can be leveraged to achieve this.
We provide consulting on how a region can achieve a sustainable and climate resilient agricultural sector. Some key areas include sustainable water management for agriculture, cold storage, reducing post harvest food losses and value addition in the agricultural sector while aiming to promote agroecological practices.
